• Your EMA login for apply.stepupforstudents.org

• The correct student selected in your EMA account

• A student enrolled in FES-UA

• Available scholarship funds for the sessions you want to reserve

• The provider name: Jennifer Wisser-Stokes Counseling LLC

How to Reserve Step Up Funds in EMA

Follow these steps on your phone or computer to reserve funds for therapy:

STEP 1: Log In to EMA

Go to the EMA portal and sign in to your EMA account.

STEP 2: Open Marketplace

Open the sidebar menu, select Marketplace, and click Find Providers.

STEP 3: Select Your Student

Use the Select Student dropdown and choose the child who is enrolled in FES-UA.

STEP 4: Search for Jennifer

Type Jennifer Wisser or Jennifer Wisser-Stokes Counseling LLC into the search bar and open the provider listing.

STEP 5: Choose the Service

Select Psychotherapy or Counseling Services and choose the number of sessions you want to reserve.

STEP 6: Review Your Cart

Click Add to Cart, then Go to Cart to review the provider, service, quantity, and total.

STEP 7: Reserve Funds

Click the blue Reserve Funds button to hold the amount in your student’s EMA account.

Helpful tip: Save a screenshot of your confirmation page in case the office asks you to send it before your first visit.

Have Not Reserved Funds Yet?

You are not stuck. If funds have not been reserved yet, Jennifer can help guide you through the process at the start of the session if needed. Reserving in advance is still the best option whenever possible.

What to Do After You Reserve Funds

Once funds are reserved in EMA, contact the practice to request a consult or move forward with scheduling.

Common Questions Inside EMA

Review your cart before you click Reserve Funds. If something looks incorrect, remove the item and re-add it with the correct quantity.

When you reserve approved services through EMA Marketplace with an approved provider, the scholarship funds are used directly through the system.

The Optional Notes field is very limited. Leave it blank. Please do not use it for private or clinical information.

If funds are reserved but the order is not completed in the portal, they typically return to the student’s available balance within about 3 business days.
